At Sun Bet, we are committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which a refund may be issued and how such requests are handled. By placing bets on Sun Bet, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. General Principles
• All bets placed on Sun Bet are final once confirmed.
• Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be issued under specific conditions outlined in this policy.
• All refund requests will be reviewed in line with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and other applicable Nigerian laws.
2. Eligible Scenarios for Refund
Refunds may only be considered in the following cases:
1. Technical Errors
• If a system or platform malfunction causes duplicate transactions or incorrect deductions.
• If a bet is placed but not properly recorded due to a system fault.
2. Cancelled or Void Events
• If an event is officially cancelled, abandoned, or voided by the relevant sporting body and Sun Bet rules apply a refund.
• If a market is incorrectly listed (e.g., wrong teams, fixtures, or odds).
3. Unlawful Transactions
• If an unauthorized transaction occurs on your account due to proven security breaches or fraud.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
• Losses resulting from normal gameplay and valid bets.
• Bets placed in error by the customer (e.g., wrong selection, stake, or market).
• Situations where the event has already commenced or concluded before the error is reported.
• Delays or losses caused by poor internet connectivity or third-party payment gateways not under Sun Bet’s direct control.
4. Refund Process
1. Customers must submit a refund request within 72 hours of the disputed transaction.
2. Requests should be sent via support@sunbet.ng or through the in-app support portal, with transaction details and proof of payment.
3. Sun Bet will investigate and respond within 5–10 working days.
4. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method or to the customer’s Sun Bet wallet.
5. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and overseen by relevant regulatory bodies including the NLRC and applicable State Gaming Boards.
